Hmm, it's Ash Wednesday, but I forgot until Kathryn freaked out when I began to eat chicken. I figured, "Oh, well. I already ate chicken for lunch, can't be any worse now." I'm so sacrilegious, but want to know who's worse? Dwight. He's the boy who convinced his own mother that church was a waste of effort and Hell was nothing more than an adult version of the Boogeyman. The only he continues is because, when he graduates, his church will give him money for college. I wish my church would give me money.

Speaking of church and religion... here are some interesting facts: Dwight has some symbol on the back of his Buick which happens to be connected with the Order of the Eastern Star, a part of the Masons. Evidently his grandfather was part of it as a Highmaster or something. I can't remember the details, but I thought that was nifty. His family is pretty old and they keep tabs on the history. Yeah, my family isn't that organized.

Oh, for all those chicks out there... a great book to read is The Red Tent by Anita Diamant. Sooooooooo good. As blasphemous as I can be, this book blew me away. The story is worth reading and the style addicting. Yay for books.

I did one scholarship. I pray for money.
